I believe it’s time for the body of Christ (the church) to start to LIVE FREE, to walk in their freedom and authority that we were born into, through the blood of Jesus.
“Whom the Son sets free is free in deed”
(John 8:36)
If that’s true then why is the church not living like it?
Why do Christians feel defeated, depressed, sick, broke, or just getting by?
Why do certain sins keep tripping them up?
The reason is, they don’t understand who they are.
“For they are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”
(II Cor. 5:21)
Righteous
means you are in right standing with God. God sees you as whole and complete, not as a sinner. Our righteousness did not come from being and doing well, it came through the blood of Jesus.
Holiness
is "the state of being holy; purity or integrity of moral character"; is an attribute of righteousness. Without believing and understanding that you’re righteous, being holy will be just a religious act that you will fail at.
It’s trying to be something when you’re not sure you are. When you know you are righteous then you will start “being holy as your Father in Heaven is Holy”
